email button greyed out and EWS error in programs sending directly

Solution

Usually the Security Certificate has expired.

Run SBS Server Console, Select Network, Connectivity, fix my network. It will list the errors, untick the ones you dont want to correct and then click on next. Run again afterwards to make sure its OK.
