Server doesnt show up in network on any machine or even on its own listing.

Why, oh, why, don't Microsoft turn these on when you set up a server?

This is a question of network Discovery and services. Make sure all the discoveries are turned on the host PC's.

On the server Network discovery requires that the

DNS Client,

Function Discovery Resource Publication,

SSDP Discovery

UPnP Device Host

Services are started. Use services.msc so you can check this on both sides to make sure they are started.

Some are set to disabled or manual start. change all of these to automatic.
